Pixel Props Store is pleased to offer the most complete and accurate light and sound kit for the Ecto Goggles Ghostbusters prop. This kit has taken a year to develop and test for these three main Ecto Goggle types:
The GBFans version will also fit the MakerGulbi model from Thingiverse.
The kit comes in two versions: Assembled and Unassembled.
Assembled
This version will be completely ready to drop into your Ecto Goggles. All parts are assembled, soldered, and inserted into the black 3d printed insert of your choosing. This does not include the actual Ecto Goggles. You will need to purchase the Ecto Goggle shell and in order for this to fit inside of them. This will come with two batteries. If you wish to purchase extra batteries, please do so along with your order and they will be installed with your assembled kit.
Unassembled
This version comes in parts and is not assembled. This does not include the 3d printed insert. All components will need to be soldered to the control board. You will get instructions in your kit and can also refer to the tutorial video (coming soon). This does not include the actual Ecto Goggles.
You will need to purchase the Ecto Goggle shell and in order for this to fit inside of them.
C&A Props is available to print the inserts in black and olive colors. The inserts are $30 shipped USA for each is fine. $30+ shipping international. You can contact them on their Facebook page or email them and let them know which color and which version you need.
You can also purchase the 3d print files to print yourself for the GB Fans inserts or the Goon inserts.
Assembly videos for the unassembled kits coming soon! This kit is very simple to assemble with everything being surface mounted to the PCB or simply inserting the component into the provided mounting holes. You will receive all components with code and sound files ready to go! The diagrams for the assembly as well as a listing of individual parts are here. The unassembled kit will include all of these parts as well as printed instructions. No need to purchase these parts individually.
Of course, if you wish to, you can install this kit as you prefer or any way that you want to.

We are doing backorders for this kit which is something we haven’t done before. Some of our parts have international sources and shipping times on components can vary from time to time. We ask that customers wait at least 4 to 6 weeks on their orders for us to make sure all components are available and tested.
Once more, the unassembled kit does not include the 3d printed insert. That can be purchase from C&A Props to be printed for you. Drop them a line on their Facebook page or email them. You can also purchase the 3d print files individually to print yourself here.
Please allow between 4 to 6 weeks to assure all parts are tested and packed appropriately. Some parts are coming from international sources and are sometimes very slow to arrive. Assembled kits will be thoroughly tested before shipping.Â
